A little about me!
I like to go by Nuzhat which is Arabic for cheerfulness. I was born in the capital of Bangladesh, the city of Dhaka. I have lived there for 18 years of my life and then I took a flight across an ocean and some land and moved to Michigan in April of 2017. I have had it easy transitioning from my native environment to this community where diversity is celebrated everywhere. I grew up as an introvert but my summer job at Walgreen's, has made me transform into an even better person and I look at it as one of my achievements because I was on the verge of having Social Anxiety Disorder and I used to be really scared of interacting with people. The job has made me open up to people and acknowledge them for how they are. Back home, I have had the privilege to go to a British Curriculum based private school which is why I can speak English and can easily blend among people. That and coming to the University of Michigan-Dearborn is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.
