Reflections.
Reflecting on the topics I have came across this semester, I realize there are a lot of things we still have to figure out to make the world a better place. Learning about the life of Bhutto, Frederick Douglass, Nelson Mandela and Gandhi, their footprints and their lessons on how to differentiate the right path from the wrong one taught me a lot. I understand how religion can affect us and how religion can also save us at the same time. Martin Luther King’s approach to get a defined society full of freedom for all people of color is yet to be seen in the year 2018 and fast-forward, if we keep continuing our way of being active in the society, that day won’t be far. The youth of color has been readily accepting other people despite the differences in race, ethnicity and language barrier. They have also been raising awareness against the government’s way of dealing with people of color who are here illegally and hopefully we will see more. They are seen raising awareness among other students about why to vote and how it matters and it’s time the awareness to be spread among people from all generations.
The composition class of this semester also went as far as opening my eyes to how the government works. The way the corporation has dealt with people all this year, fooling people in their eyes while bagging the fortune is something that is not acceptable. I believe for all of us, who are affected by it some or other way, in the near future, be it through our active citizenship or some actual role-playing in the government state-level or federal, I hope we will be able to do something to change the big-brother role corporations been playing and give people their rightful money back.
